A Day in the Life at Garden School
Tucked somewhere between a storybook and a soft breeze lives the Garden School. A place where the curriculum is built around quiet wonder. There are no loud bells or rows of desks here. Instead, you'll find moss-covered benches, rose-lined paths, and notebooks filled with observations like “sunlight felt extra golden today.”

Here, students study things you won’t find on a standard syllabus: the emotional range of hydrangeas, the behavior of shadows in midsummer, and how to sketch a dandelion puff without it floating away. Exams are open-air. Homework smells like petals. Professors may include gardeners, poetic butterflies and the occasional very wise pigeon.
Meet Rose, a top student in Flower Theory and Applied Petal Sketching. We caught her in between classes, notebook in hand, collecting field notes like secrets from the blooms.

Uniform, but make it charming.
The outfit strikes the perfect balance between studious and whimsical: a plaid dress layered over a soft white blouse with a gentle bow - equal parts botanical researcher and sketchbook daydreamer. Paired with frilly socks, classic comfy heels, and a trusty notebook always in hand. It's the kind of look that says, “I take my floral studies seriously, but I’ll still pause to write a poem if the fountain sounds nice today.”

Today's Schedule:
8:00 AM – Advanced Floral Listening
Not everyone hears the flowers, but she does. Today’s topic: What do pink roses complain about the most?

9:30 AM – Fountain Philosophy
A meditative morning class by the water, where students ponder the emotional range of a gentle splash.

11:00 AM – Petal Sketching
Precision and patience. Drawing what you see is one thing - capturing how the flower feels is another.

12:30 PM – Lunch under the climbing roses
Unofficial nap time. Bonus points if you can identify three flower species by scent alone.

2:00 PM – Weather Appreciation
Today: Cloud-spotting and rating them on a scale from “melancholy poet” to “optimistic marshmallow.”

4:00 PM – Memory Studies
Homework: record the color of light through the petals at 4:17 PM. Accuracy counts.

6:00 PM - End of school day!
Notebooks closed, petals pressed between pages, and stories quietly waiting to be told...

Garden School might not be real - but it’s the kind of world I love to create: playful, thoughtful and just a little surreal. Whether it’s petals, notebooks, or something entirely different next time, each shoot is a chance to explore a new story!
If you enjoy stepping into these little worlds, stay tuned - there’s always another one just around the corner!
